I am getting the whole thing redused in size, as it is the size, not the schape that botheres me. But he said that the hump on my nose can not be saved😆 So the shape will change, in his opinion to the better, so that’s fine😉

Ahah yeah he’s not a fan of humps 😂 I’m getting mine slimmed down both my bridge and the tip, also getting some of the septum taken off as it’s quite prominent.. getting it straightened out a little so it looks a bit better and I can breathe better so I’m getting quite a bit done ahah but I liked that he does very small changes.. keeps your personality  he said he might have to take my hump down a little to help my breathing.. I really hope it goes well ahaha why can’t yours be saved?

Sounds like alot! Can it be done in a closed procedure? Mine will be closed. I guess I will do slimming down in all directions, top, sides and tip (not sure I know what the septum is or where it showes)🙈

I think he will straighten the nose to make it smaller, and I guess making a nice hump is difficult🤷‍♀️ Getting an identical, but smaller nose is not realistic, I get that☺️

Same, but he insists shape will be nicer also, so that is exciting of course🤗

I will se him day before in the afternoon, I guess just after your surgery😊 On the day I think it’s the nurces and probably anestethic doctor that see us before. Think I read it online on the website.

It will be my only consultation face2face before surgery, and I could not have it anytime before bc I don’t live nearby..

Hey ☺️ I’m ok, I’m having a bit of a rough healing, my right nostril wouldn’t stop bleeding which was a bit worrying but with meds and a visit to the hospital I think we’ve got it under control! Glad to hear that it got better, after a scary start for you! I think they were really caring and nice at the clinic, hope you had a similar experience.

The drive yesterday went well, I dosed off and relaxed.. hoping nobody would notise my gigantic cast. The cast and tape is literally all over my face.  Not what I expected and I think it will annoy me alot for the next 8 days😕

Yes. 12.15. 
How is your swelling? Day 3 can be the worst, but almost same as yesterday for me. No real bruising, but the tip is huge(will I have a 🐽 nose 😳?) and a bit more puffy in the cheeks🐹🙈

My swelling has almost gone now  I still have a bit of a fat top lip and lower cheeks/jaw bone with yellow bruising a bit everywhere on my face but the swelling in my eyes has practically gone ☺️ I can’t really see my nose ahah are you worried you’ll have a fat nose? 😂 I really doubt it.. the swelling in the nose I’ve heard gets worse once you take the cast off. It’s a patience game ahaha Cute! I’m there at 12:00 on the 29th, I might see you in the waiting area ☺️

My swelling is long gone, but got an  infection on the skin on the tip bc the tape was too tight. So cut this tape off and started antibiotics… I am worried about the state of the rest of the skin😣 Monday can not come soon enough now!

Omg I’m so sorry.. it’s good you caught it on time though! And yes I can’t wait for Monday too, the tube in my right nostril is digging into my skin and is really painful every time I eat or laugh because it’s created an open wound.. It sounds stressful for you too, to have to wait so long❤️‍🩹 I think we could have needed a check-up within the first week when having to wait so long. To get new tape and adjust mask and tubes. But it is what it is bc of Christmas now, and Monday is less than two days away thank God! 
 

i also have a sharp pain in my right nostril as the tube is digging into the skin in front of it. Generally I can also feel, what I guess is, the stiches more in the right nostrils. And the mask is getting on my nerves now, as I feel it is only covering and not really supporting anything anymore. 
 I also suspect there will be at least a week of healing in skin, and the inside of the nose after Monday. Which is a little surprising to me.. Quess the people  posting on Youtube are the ones with  good outcome in a week🤪

I’m very happy that the surgeon was so helpful though, it calmed me down a lot when I was stressing about the blood pouring out of me ahahah 

yeah they either don’t say everything that has happened to them or they were just lucky, complications are VERY common with rhinoplasties.. at the moment I’m just very happy to have chosen Cosmo  fingers crossed for mondayyyy I’m excited!

The surgeon has been amazing with me too. Staying in touch and checking the progress after I contacted him about the infection. I first notised the tip being very red and strained. He said it looked fine at first. When it started ouzing puss he emedeately told me which emergency room to go to and even the name of the person waiting for me there. So when it godt worse he stepped up. So no complaints from me either.
 

i quess I am excited for the «reveal» monday, but now I mostly just pray my skin is not too f’ed up and can take all the taping that I need to continue in the next weeks or months.. I see changes in the nostrils and they heal unevenly, from beeing similar to one beeing more retracted and one beeing puffy, so it looks uneven. This I know is normal and the nose can swell and heal very different and uneven from side to side, so that does’nt really stress me. Anyway I don’t expect too much from the apprance side of it on Monday. Just expect to feel releaf of getting the mask and tubes out😮‍💨
 

Just let the next days pass very quickly!!!!!!!!!😅
