Men ja, rimelig latterlig å tape for Trump. Clinton er og blir en katastrofe. Two measures of the country's progress have shown signs of improvement since Trump took the helm. Most, 54%, now say things in the country are going well, up from 46% in February. That matches last year's high of 54%, reached in October. Likewise, almost 6 in 10 now say economic conditions in the country are good, an uptick compared with mid-January, and the highest mark on that question since May 2007. Han er upopulær på persoligheten. Men hva tror du er viktigst for folk når de skal stemme igjen om tre år? http://edition.cnn.com/2017/04/26/politics/donald-trump-100-days-poll/index.html 1
ops2 Skrevet 29. september 2017 #22 Skrevet 29. september 2017 Når Trump får gode ratinger, holder norsk media alltid tett om det. https://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/trump-nfl-poll-anthem-respect-study/ http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/byron-york-measuring-and-mismeasuring-the-trump-conundrum/article/2631831?platform=hootsuite Quote "In 2010, Obama had high personal favorables, softening job approval, and a really high brake pedal number," Todd wrote. "That led to a landslide against his party in the mid-term. His personal favorability eventually dropped, before rising again in 2018 just as voters were rebuking his chosen successor." "The question to watch is not what voters think of a president personally, but whether or not they think he needs supervision or not," Todd added. Trump is a "conundrum," Todd concluded, "because voters see him as a brake pedal on both parties. So it is unclear whether they will put a brake pedal on the brake pedal in the next midterm." The bottom line is that evaluating Trump's standing is probably more complicated than simply citing a falling job approval number. This is a presidency like no other, and it should be no surprise that measuring it presents new problems. http://www.newsweek.com/who-will-win-2018-elections-democrats-fail-donald-trump-2020-bernie-sanders-649344 Quote Even if the Democrats are able to rebrand their agenda—the party's new motto is "A Better Deal: Better Skills, Better Jobs, Better Wages," which has been compared to pizza company Papa John's slogan—and win back some seats in areas where Trump barely clinched a victory, it likely won't be enough to give them a majority in either house of Congress. "Even if Democrats were to win every single 2018 House and Senate race for seats representing places that Hillary Clinton won or that Trump won by less than 3 percentage points—a pretty good midterm by historical standards—they could still fall short of the House majority and lose five Senate seats," David Wasserman, of poll analysis site FiveThirtyEight, wrote Monday. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2017/08/07/2018-midterms-the-democrats-are-about-to-crash-into-their-own-geographic-wall-n2365557 Quote While a president’s approval rating has historically been a gauge for how his party would do in the midterms if they control Congress, we could see an event where Trump could be relatively unpopular but the Republicans still retain their majority--with an increased Senate majority. 1
