Sorry for answering in English, but I am not very good at typing Norwegian, but I understand Norwegian very well. Anyway, I am looking for a place to buy Root Beer in Norway. I am American, and it is killing me that I cant get a hold of any... I live in Bergen, so if anyone could help me out, it would be great. I don't care if I have to go to Oslo for it... I just need some!

Tusen Takk :P I will check them out. Meny I have been to at Bergen Storsenter, and I did not find it there, but they did have Cherry Coke and Doctor Pepper... Deli de Luca might have it though. Now I just need to find where it is. Thank you again for your help.

Are you thirsty? ;)

One of the persons over here writes that you can find it in some of the large grocery shops like Meny or Ultra. Also Deli de Luca has it, but I guess it's rather expensive there. Good luck :)

Neeeida :ler:

Deli de Luca in Bergen had the Root Beer! Thank you all so much, i can't say how awesome this is. I have been a bit depressed since they stopped selling Mountain Dew last year, but this makes it great! And it was not just Root Beer... Oh god all the American candies and stuff they had... Tootsie Rolls... Butterfingers... Skittles (and not just that red pack like the Denmark boat....) Three Musketeers bars, and so much more.

Also cool things were to find Jelly Belly's, which are some very well flavored jelly beans, for any of you that have not tried them. They taste like real things, like Buttered Popcorn, or marshmallows, or just about anything else, it is pretty cool.

They also had Starbucks drinks... Frapachinos.... Oh yes...

So yeah, this was a long way of saying thank you very much! :P

They have A&W rootbeer in Deli De Luca in bergen.

A&W RootBeer er bare heeeelt vidunderlig!

Tootsie rolls..brrr. Jelly Bellys blir for kunstig for min smak.

a&w rootbeer smaker minst like mye tannkrem som de fleste andre typer rootbeer..yuck!

In Oslo you can get it in Deli De Luca stores, they have the Barg's Root Beer there right now. When I lived in the states, A&W was my favourite. They are very expensive here unfortunately. You can also get them in Sweden for a cheaper price in the big markets. I hear chains like Ultra and Meny has them, but I've yet to see it there so far. You can however ask Ultra to get it for you.

Price will be steep tho, around 20-30 NOK for a can. Ridiculous. Bring rootbeer to Norway! :)

Adam, you can get Root Beer at the Deli de Luca's around town. I just bought one there myself last night, and was looking for somewhere to buy more of em. They are quite costly though. Around 25-30NOK for a can, but tbh I think they're worth every penny =)
