Hej! Sorry I have to write in English, but I promise you can understand it better this way

I'm a mother of one daughter and I really didn't have any hobbies and I have to say I got a bit bored from time to time. Staying at home, days going on the same. Mail was my highlight of the day, but usually there was nothing there, only bills etc.

Then I found a hobby for myself. There is a site called Postcrossing, and I got immediately hooked. The point of this project is to send a postcard and receive one back from a random postcrosser somewhere in the world. It's easy and I'm so happy that my mailbox is filling with amazing cards from all over the world. Last one was from South-Africa, how cool is that!

I'm happier to have some life and I can take a few cranky days more from my daughter...

Kan bekrefte at dette er kult! Har sendt og mottatt over 30 postkort, pluss masse privat. Det gir en ekstra spenning i hverdagen om det kanskje ligger et postkort (eller fler) når jeg kommer hjem fra jobb.

Det tar ikke lang tid å skrive et postkort, og du kan skrive (nesten) det samme på alle. De kjenner ikke hverandre!

I've also sent many private swaps, there is also a forum where you can swap postcards and other items. I've get to taste for example chocolate from other countries and maple toffee wich I highly recommend Lots of fun!
