Kunne jeg sikkert, er bare usikker på regelverket, blir oppskrifter som spesifikt kommer fra en spesiell kilde regnet som åndsverk? *fundere*

Det er lagt ut mange oppskrifter her, så det burde vel gå bra.

Ok, det bør vel gå bra da ;) ....denne blir en smule lang dog... og er ikke oversatt, tok lang nok tid å skrive den inn....

Ben&Jerry’s sweet cream bases for ice cream

• 2 large eggs

• ¾ cup of sugar

• 2 cups of whipping cream

• 1 cup milk

Whisk eggs in a bowl until light & fluffy, add sugar a little at time, whisking, continue until completely blended. Pour in cream + milk and whisk to blend.

Makes a pint.

• 2 cups of whipping cream

• ¾ cup of half & half (amerikansk greie – kan byttes ut med like store mengder av melk og fløte)

• ¾ cup of sugar

Pour cream into mixing bowl, whisk in sugar a little at a time, continue whisking until completely blended. Pour in half&half and whisk until blended. Makes a pint.

• 2 cups light cream

• 1 cup condensed milk, cold

Whisk the cream and the condensed milk together in a bowl until blended. Makes a pint.

Ben & Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk

• ¼ cup coarsely chopped white chocolate

• ¼ cup coarsely chopped dark chocolate

• ¼ cup chopped pecan, halves

• ¼ cup chopped walnuts

• ¼ halved chocolate covered almonds

• 100 g unsweetened chocolate

• 1 cup milk

• 2 large eggs

• 1 cup sugar

• 1 cup whipping cream

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 1 pinch salt

Combine chocolates, pecans, walnuts and almonds in a bowl, cover and refrigerate.

Melt the 100 g chocolate in a bowl over a pan of water. Whisk in milk, a little at a time, and heat until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool.

Whisk eggs until light and fluffy, whisk in sugar slowly. Add the cream, vanilla and salt, whisk to blend.

Pour the chocolate mixture into the cream mixture and blend. Cover and refrigerate until cold (1-3 hrs)

Transfer the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze, following the manufacturers instructions.

After the ice cream stiffens (about 2 min before its ready) add chocolate + nuts, then continue freezing until its ready.

Cherry Garcia

• ¼ cup shaved plain chocolate (dark)

• ¼ cup fresh Bing cherries, halved and pitted (you may use canned cherries, but be sure to drain the syrup)

• 2 large eggs

• ¾ cup sugar

• 2 cups heavy or whipping cream

• 1 cup milk

Place the shaved chocolate flakes and the cherries in separate bowls. Cover and refrigerate.

Whisk the eggs into a mixing bowl until light and fluffy, 1-2 minutes. Whisk in the sugar, a little at a time, then continue whisking until completely blended, about 1 minute more. Pour in the cream and milk and whisk to blend.

Transfer the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze following the manufactures instructions.

After the ice cream stiffens (about 2 min before its ready) add chocolate and the cherries, then continue freezing until its ready.

Makes grateful 1 quart.

Mocha Swiss Chocolate Almond

• 2 large eggs

• ¾ cup sugar

• 4 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder

• 2 tablespoons good-quality freeze-dried coffee

• 2 cups heavy or whipping cream

• 1 cup milk

• 1 cup chocolate-covered almonds

Whisk the eggs into a mixing bowl until light and fluffy, 1-2 minutes. Whisk in the sugar, a little at a time, then continue whisking until completely blended, about 1 minute more. Add the cocoa and coffee and whisk to blend. Pour in the cream and milk and whisk to blend.

Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze following the manufactures instructions.

After the ice cream stiffens (about 2 min before its ready) add the almonds then continue freezing until its ready.

Makes generous 1 quart.

Orange cream dream

• Sweet cream base

• 1/3 cup orange juice concentrate

• 2 teaspoon vanilla extract.

Prepare sweet cream base. Add juice and vanilla, blend together.

Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze following the manufactures instructions.

Makes a generous pint.

Ben & Jerry’s Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies

• ½ butter, room temp

• ¼ cup granulated sugar

• 1/3 cup brown sugar

• 1 large egg

• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

• ½ teaspoons salt

• ½ teaspoon baking soda

• 1 cup + 2 tablespoons flour

• 1 cup choc chips

• ½ cup chopped nuts

Preheat the oven to 350 degree F (…ca 175 grader celcius)

Beat butter and both sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg + vanilla, mix well.

Mix flour, salt and baking soda together in another bowl. Add dry ingredients to the other and mix well. Stir in nuts and chips.

Make cookies of the dough onto a baking sheet, 2-3 inches apart, flatten with back of a spoon.

Bake until the centres are still slightly soft to touch. 11-14 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and transfer to a rack to cool completely.

Makes 12-15 cookies.

Hvis du i stedenfor å steke de putter små klumper av denne kaldt og deretter blander disse med en av basene så får du B&J cookie dough! :sjarmor: …kan også mikse de ferdigstekte cookiene i en av basene.

Enjoy! Jeg har store planer om å lage etpar av disse i påska! (kan ikke her...vi har verken iskremmaskin eller plass i fryseren...)

Den er ganske gammel, men er kjempebra, inneholder ikke bare mange fristende oppskrifter men også historien om hvordan Ben and Jerry startet opp med isproduksjon.

...men det har jo alle små firma gjort, er jo ingenting som ikke er eid av enten Kraft, Nestle eller Unilever på markedet lenger... synd men sant!
