The word genius, often used loosely in present day society, is a lot more than having a brilliant memory and mathematical abilities. A considerable number of inventors, deep thinkers, artists and poets assigned the title of genius are known to be individuals who “think outside the box”. Their heightened awareness enables their minds to be open to possibilities that are new and may seem strange to the average mind. Because geniuses tend to display unconventional behaviour, it’s often thought that there is a “thin line between insanity and genius”.
