the song is about this guy who hangs out in an IRC channel, hes an admin if im not mistaken. IRC is a protocol, whatever, basically it is used to chat. it is structured in the way that a person creates a channel, to which people then come to hang out n talk.

that is completely wrong. bot might be some shortening for robot, that is likely, however it is not used in that way any more. "banna dig så hårt" means "ban you so hard" and not hot = deilig or whatever.

continuing: we have established that the guy who sings is an admin of a channel, basically, he is one of the operators of the channel, he RUNS it and takes care of it, a bit like a cop. now it happens every now and then that a channel is visited by some idiot who has nothing to say but bullshit, or he just posts advertisements, or whatever. basically, an annoying person comes to the channel. these have to be kicked from the channel, or banned, where ban means that the person is kicked and cannot come back to the channel.

now, the quintessential: a BOT is a PROGRAM which takes care of the kicking of these annoying people, so that the admin/operator doesnt have to do this manually cuz it would take too much of his/her time.

the song is about the operator of a channel, hes singing about how great this bot is, the bots name is ANNA. the plot worsens, however, as it turns out that this ANNA who the operator thought was a bot, ie a program, is not a program, but a chick. and then theres a little love thing etc..
