Livet I Son

Hei, I will write this post in English. First I would like to introduce myself, my name is Amina I am Lebanese Canadian and I am living with my 2 girls (ages 3 and 4) and Norwegian husband in Hokksund Norway. We are considering moving to Son for different reasons and I need some help with some concerns.

1- How is Childcare (Barnehagens) in Son? As we are moving before school years, I would like my kids to be in the same barnehagen where most kids start in Son School. Any recommendations here?

2- How is social life in Son? Is it hard to integrate and thrive in new communities? Meet other families?

3- I read in a previous post on this forum that Son is not recommended due to Drug abuse problems in high school years. Can anyone shed some light here?

4- I am working in Oslo & i read there will be a new (Reisetid) with a new train way. Is there any specific date this will be finished?

I would really appreciate feedback and information from those who lived / currently living in Son to help with our decision. If you feel more comfortable writing in Norwegian please do so, I can understand. Just wanted to avoid some spelling mistakes.
