What is interesting about a sun rise?

Sometimes when you watch the sunset, you are grateful because of its aesthetic value. It is beautiful However, if you have a certain analytical inclination, the most telling thing is the regularity with which it occurs. In order for that miracle to happen, certain things and systems must be in place. The laws of physics, the expansion of the universe etc. In the history of science predictability reflect stable systems. The ocean tide, the half moon and so on.

Then there are other things in the world which occur with less regularity. For instance, when I cross the street, sometimes there are cars, and sometimes there are none. If I open my door, I don’t expect to see the postman every time. I leave at different times, and there is no way that the postman could know what I am up to behind closed doors. Unless he is always standing outside the door, which I highly doubt. It is cold outside.

So life is chaotic, unpredictable, emotional. But nature is stable and cold.
