I have my bedroom in the basement so I am guessing they come from outside. My plan is to do something with the room in the near future, but for now it is what is is. It may also be some fukt here.

If you live in a basement they are probably living inside somewhere, especially if there is some moisture there. 

Jeg tenkte kanskje det kunne vært en korsedderkopp som hadde kommet inn og fått barn, men ikke når du bor i en kjeller. Da må det være husedderkopp eller kjelleredderkopp. Jeg tipper husedderkopp siden du sier de er raske. Hvis jeg var deg så hadde jeg flyttet, selv unngår jeg sokkel og kjellerleiligheter på grunn av dette problemet, jeg liker heller ikke edderkopper. Nå bor jeg i et hus uten kjeller, og det finnes praktisk talt ikke edderkopper her, bare de som kommer inn utenfra.

Spesielt på Sørlandet finnes det store edderkopper, jeg kaller dem "sørlandsedderkopper", de er store, svarte og ser litt "hårete" ut. Mulig de er husedderkopper. Også i Oslo har jeg sett disse edderkoppene, en venninne bodde i sokkel der og hadde mange av dem. Hun ble vant til dem av å bo der

Du kan sette myggnetting over vinduene, da kommer de seg hvertfall ikke inn der. Å tette sprekker med akryl kan også kanskje stoppe dem. 

Jeg bruker spraye hele underetasjen med en blanding av 50% eddik og 50% vann en gang i uken ca, siden edderkoppene ikke liker lukten av eddik.

Edderkoppene kryper inn i husene våre på høsten for å finne seg en partner, så dette er værste tiden på året. I have the same problem as you. I live in a basement and there are spiders everywhere. The sick part is that they are all super big (fat), with long legs. So they seem so much bigger and scarier than “normal”, which would be fine. I am so tired of people saying that I just have to get used to it and that it’s not dangerous so I shouldn’t be scared. You know what? I still shit my pants every time i see one so it’s not helpful. I must admit I don’t have any helpful tips for you. I have tried spraying the walls with water and lemon, but still my room is filled with spiders. Help.

I am not renting a kjeller. I have a house, and the first floor is actually when I think again not a kjeller but ground floor (over the ground). But this room is partly half under on one side..I own the house so cannot just escape, plus the house is great.

Update: I went to Jernia and got a spray for 149 which the guy recommended. I sprayed here and there, not sure what I was doing but just did it. Later on, I opened up my closet(!!!!) and guess what I saw on one of my favourite blouses.....a big chunky spider....it ofcourse ran inside the shelf so I am not sure what to do now...I did not spray hardcore tonight as I have to be in the house, but going all in on Thursday as I am going away for two days. 

 

I sprayed outside too. I slept in my office last night....doing that tonight as well.
