Please help- SPIDERS-

I am posting this here hoping that someone can help me. Please feel free to reply in Norwegian, I am practising and may be able to understand/use google translate.

I am CRAZY scared of spiders, and have just discovered 4-5 BIG BIG spiders in my bedroom. I managed to kill these(had no other options, they were big and did not want to stand still..). Later on I washed the room again, went over with a squeezed lemon..and saw 3 smaller(still big) ones. The big ones were about 6-7 cm? I AM SCARED..Please help. What can I do? Yesterday One was on my leg and one close to my face while I was sleeping....I dont have other sleeping options and they are just popping out.

Questions:

1) I read something about felleskjopet? is this shop in Oslo- the spray: anyone knows? does it work?

2) anyone tried the lemon story? experience? also scared of them coming out in groups....I am going to run out..

3) ANY OTHER TIPS..please

I totally understand you! Spiders are the worst thing ever... I’ve also heard that they don’t like lemons, but I haven’t tried it yet.... 

And in Clas Ohlson they got some kind of «alarms»that makes a sound, that spiders hates, so they will get lost quickly... I really want to buy one or two of this!

Guys, thanks! If it had been the normal sized ones I wouldnt have any issue, but these are jumbos. I just dont know, they are big in size and also fat..really not a nice feeling having them on you :-(. Im not a person who freaks out easily, but this was just not a nice feeling.

I also attached two fans towards my bed now(yes, I will freeze), will that help? I feel like an idiot posting this, but yeah...really not nice 😞

Please update me after you tried it! Good luck, I know how you feel.. And how scared you are. I dream about spiders at night, and wake up freaking out often!

more puffy if that makes sense..but could be this one just that they are fed more.......again, i feel super weird writing this!

Yes, may be those, not sure to be honest, I needed a shoe, loafs of paper...glass didnt work, they were so fast and chunky :-(.

I am terrefied of spiders, I understand how you feel. 

I once lives in a basement that was infekted by «Stor Husedderkopp», it was a real nightmare.

I did however have great roomated that killed them for me. On my own I had «Radar» spray, they sell it in normal food-stores. It takes a bit to kill then with it. I go all insane, spray them, if they are on the wall they will dropp down imideatly and culr up, then I strike with a glas and put that over. The spider will then die after a bit by the poison from the spray, and since its trapped under a glass, you have controll of it. Just putting a glass over a spider will also kill it after a long time. I don’t think its designed for spiders, maybe that is why it takes a while before it kills them. But it does work  

What I wanted to say was that this basement, it got better. We did manage to lower the amount of spiders there, and we rarly saw them later on. If you keep killing them, it will get better. Almost like they know they are not wanted  

Now I live somewhere else, bur spiders do sometimes find their way inside, I have 2 cats, and they love to hunt and eat spiders 😍 I almost never ever see any inside 😸😸

Hvilken farge har de, og bor du i kjeller, sokkelleilighet eller lengre opp i huset? Har det stått vindu åpent? Er det fukt i huset?

I dont have any cats (super allergy), but I will go bananas with the spray. My scare is the spider I probably cant see. I dont want to see them. I understand there is no way around, I googled and googled today and read something about a strong spray at felleskjopet(?) which was the best or so..

Hope you never see a spider again!

Du trenger ikke gjøre noe spesielt med dette. De vil ikke kunne overleve på et soverom over tid, de vil tørke ut og dø. De er heller ikke farlige, de kommer ikke til å angripe deg på noen som helst måte. Jeg forstår at du har fobi, men prøv å ta kontroll over tankene dine, tenk logisk og forsøk å ignorere dem. Hvorfor skal du drepe noe som ikke er skadelig for deg?

I am confused, I think something in between this and the other one (on the other link).

I have my bedroom in the basement so I am guessing they come from outside. My plan is to do something with the room in the near future, but for now it is what is is. It may also be some fukt here.

Just curious if anyone has really tried lemon?

i dont want to kill them, just didnt have any options there and then. I am not scared of normal spiders..wouldnt bother me much, again the size of these so close to my body/face/sleeping area was nasty. Also the amount...got rid of one, second was there...light off...light on for something..two ore...like hello...

 

Again, I am lucky I dont really have a fobi or so, but these are scary. I have no interest sleeping next to them.

Actually, just remembered, in my attempt to keep the cats off of the kitchen counter, I put down double sided tape, and while it did not work to keep the cats of the counter it did catch a spider, it was completly stuck 

I laugh at it but did feel bad for it. Maybe you can make traps, to keep them off of you while you sleep, and to capture them. It is properly more healthy than using the poison spray all the time 😅😂 

Remember when you use the spray, read the instructions. To wash you hands adter use. To juse it at a distance. And only spray what is necessary, i.e try and only hit the spider, always air out the room after etc...
