Tornado of shattered glass
I make myself small and steady
Hoping the storm soon will pass 


Claustrophobic and bizarre 
My feet can't wander far
With tied hands, I will concave 
Every step makes another scar
That brings me closer to my grave 
So I close my eyes to be brave

My soul is light as a feather
The body heavy like stone
Instead of caving in, I take control 
So I'm letting my fears go
Then levitate through the tornado 

Convinced I'll come out of it whole
Shattered glass slice my wrists
Cutting me free from ropes
Wind is stroking my back 
Carrying me out of the tornado 

And then I watch the beautiful shattered glass
Fall down like the lightest snow
