As promised, H&M took to Paris Fashion Week last night to unveil the first-ever “see now, buy now” collection from its sleek Studio imprint. The immediate availability wasn’t the only first for the Swedish label, however. The runway show also marked the debut of H&M Studio menswear — and the collection is slick, to say the least. Highlighted by a predominance of monochromatic pieces in the likes of black, white, olive and bright pink, the collection takes cues from ballet to offer up a modern take on athleisure’s comfort-meets-fucntionality hallmark. Said Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M Design & Creative Director:

With this collection we want to send a global message of love. There are a few pieces that carry the word again and again, kind of like a ticker tape and as a constant reminder of what is important. It feels like now, more than ever, we all need positive feelings and thoughts in our lives.

H&M Studio’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection is available in-stores and online now.
